김치찌개; Kimchi Jjigae; Kimchi stew
This is one of the most common stews found in Korea. Usually spicy, well-fermented Kimchi is the primary ingredient of this stew. It is often cooked with Tofu, onions, garlic, scallions and hot pepper paste. A dash of sugar and salt are also added to balance the taste. In some Kimchi stews, pork or seafood can also be found.
